How Certifier integrates with Airtable
Certifier connects to Airtable natively — straight to the app, with no spreadsheets, connectors, or extra tools in between. It runs on a single trigger: a new record added to your connected table.
You set this automation up only once. Map the columns holding your recipient data to your credential template, and from then on, every new record issues a credential on its own — no more building or sending certificates manually.

Setup steps
- 1
In Airtable, new tables come with three blank records. Delete them and add the Recipient Name and Recipient Email columns.
- 2
In Certifier, create and publish the credential template you want to issue.
- 3
Go to the Integrations tab, find Airtable, and choose a native automation template to work with.
- 4
Connect your Airtable account, then select the base and table to watch.
- 5
Set up the Issue Credential action and map your columns to name, email, and any other fields.
- 6
Save and activate, then give your automation a clear name.
- 7
Add a record to test it, and confirm the credential issues within a few minutes.
Key benefits
Auto-issue from any data source
Whatever feeds your Airtable table — an LMS, a form, a CRM, your own API — every new record becomes a credential, so one table can credential almost any workflow you run.
Verifiable credentials
Each credential has a unique ID and verification link that anyone can check on their own, so verification requests never pile up in your inbox.
Seamless, quick setup
No middleware, no complex config — just connect your table, map your columns, and switch it on. The whole setup takes minutes, since Certifier links to Airtable directly.
Is this integration right for you?
Use Airtable if a new record in your table is the signal that someone has earned a credential.
Course and training teams
Keep participants in an Airtable table and automatically issue each one a certificate the moment their record is added — whether it's 10 people or 500.
Event and program organizers
Award your event attendees straight from the Airtable base you already keep, so every person you log receives credentials, with nothing extra to set up per event.
Ops and HR teams
Log onboarding, compliance, or internal training in Airtable, and each new record automatically generates and sends a certificate or badge to the recipient.
