Certifier integrates directly with learning management systems (like Moodle and Canvas LMS), webinar platforms (like Zoom and ClickMeeting), CRMs (like HubSpot), and spreadsheet tools (like Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel).

Zapier, Make, Pipedream, the Certifier API and Webhooks extend this coverage further.

What is the difference between native integrations and a connector like Zapier, Make, or Pipedream?

Accepted Answer

Native integrations are built directly into Certifier, by our own dev team, and provide a secure, ready-made workflow for a supported tool. They usually only take a few clicks to set up, require no middleware or other dependencies, and are free on all plans.

Connectors are better when your app has no native integration or when the workflow needs additional filters, conditions or actions across several third party systems.

Connector platforms are great for complex, multi-app workflows but often require a separate account and subscription.

Question 3

Can I use Certifier with a tool that is not listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You may be able to route its data through Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or another supported source.

You can also connect it through Zapier, Make or Pipedream, build directly with the Certifier API and Webhooks, or discuss a custom integration with our team.

Our REST API and webhooks can be leveraged to build a custom connection to any proprietary software system.

Are integrations available on the free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Certifier Automations, API access and integrations are included in the free Starter plan.

Credentials issued through an integration still count toward your plan’s issuing limit, while Zapier, Make, Pipedream or the connected application may have separate plan requirements.

Tailored integrations are available through Certifier for Enterprise.

Do I need a developer to set up a Certifier integration?

Accepted Answer

Usually not. Native integrations and most Zapier or Make workflows can be configured without writing code. Developer support may be useful for API, Webhook, Pipedream or custom workflows involving complex business logic and internal systems.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Certifier integrations can issue certificates, digital badges or both, depending on the Credential Template selected in the workflow. The resulting credentials remain available in Certifier for delivery, verification and management.
