How Certifier integrates with TalentLMS
Certifier connects to TalentLMS through Zapier now. TalentLMS produces an event, Zapier filters and passes the learner data, and Certifier creates, issues, and sends a certificate, badge, or digital credential from the Credential Template you choose.
For earned course certificates, use TalentLMS's configurable New Event trigger and select the completion-related Event Type used by the available course-completion workflow. Test the returned event data before publishing so the learner's name, email, course, and completion details map correctly.
You can use other TalentLMS triggers, such as New User, New Course, or New Group to support onboarding and administration.

Setup steps

Prepare the Certifier Credential Template for the TalentLMS course or learning milestone.

In Zapier, choose TalentLMS as the trigger app and select New Event for completion-based issuing.

Choose the relevant Event Type, connect TalentLMS, Zapier, and Certifier, and test with a controlled completed-course record.

Add filters when only selected courses, branches, groups, scores, or event values should qualify.

Certifier currently connects to TalentLMS via Zapier. When a learner completes a course in TalentLMS it triggers an event that prompts Certifier to automatically generate and email their certificate and/or badge.
You can also use Certifier with a slightly more manual workflow if you export the post-event attendee data in a CSV file, remove ineligible or duplicate records, and upload the approved recipient list to Certifier for one controlled batch.
Use the New Event trigger and select a completion-related event type like Course Event. Zapier also provides a TalentLMS course-completion template to make things easier.
Don’t forget to test the trigger with a real completion record before publishing.
Certifier's Issue Credential action requires Group Name, Recipient Name, and Recipient Email in its basic form. To these, you can also add dynamic attributes like issue and expiration dates, as well as course, score, branch, group, or other custom data returned by the TalentLMS event.
