When a learner who has met the module completion requirements opens the item, Certifier verifies the Canvas launch, issues the credential once, and displays it inside the course.
Yes. It is available to all Certifier users, including those on the free plan, which can be used to issue up to 250 credentials per year.
Canvas does. You set the module completion requirements, such as pages viewed, assignments submitted, quizzes passed, or minimum scores, and place the Certifier item after them. A learner can only reach it once they have done the work.
No. Certifier issues a credential a single time per learner. Opening the same Canvas item again does not create a duplicate.
No. The credential appears inside Canvas and, if email delivery is enabled, arrives in the learner's inbox as a secure PDF with a link to a verifiable credential page. There is nothing to sign up for.
For most Canvas credentialing, the native integration is the right route because it issues automatically as learners complete the course. Use CSV uploads for finished completion lists, or a connector like Zapier or Make when the credential should depend on extra conditions outside Canvas such as payments, approvals, or external quiz logic.
