How Certifier integrates with Paperform
Paperform connects to Certifier through a shared Google Sheet. Each time someone submits your Paperform, their answers are added to a new row in the connected sheet, and Certifier picks up that row to issue a certificate or badge.
Getting the details right comes down to column mapping. Match each Paperform question to the sheet column it belongs in, and Certifier pulls the recipient's name, date, title, or any other field straight from there onto the credential — correctly, automatically, every time a form comes in.

Setup steps
- 1
Build your Paperform with at least two required fields in place: one for the recipient's name, one for their email address.
- 2
In Certifier, put together and publish the credential design you plan to send out.
- 3
Prepare a spreadsheet for incoming submissions (or copy Certifier's sample sheet), then in Paperform's integrations settings, connect Google Sheets and select that file.
- 4
Head to Integrations, start a new automation, select the Paperform template, and link it through Google Sheets.
- 5
Point the trigger at that spreadsheet so it watches for new rows, then set up the Issue Credential action.
- 6
Activate and name the automation, then send a test submission through the form to confirm the credential appears correctly before going live.

Key benefits
Automated issuance from Paperform
Credentials go out as soon as a form is submitted, rather than waiting for someone to review responses, export the lists, and issue certificates by hand.
Self-serve verification
Each credential includes its own verification link, so anyone checking it — an employer, a client, or an organizer — can confirm it's genuine without contacting you directly.
Quick setup
Pick a template, map your Paperform fields to the right columns, and the connection is ready to issue credentials in under 10 minutes.
Is this integration right for you?
Use this integration to award your participants as soon as they submit their form.
Events and webinars
Build your registration or check-in form in Paperform, and Certifier issues each attendee's certificate as they sign in — nobody's waiting on a follow-up email after the event wraps.
Online course creators
Attach a course-completion form to Certifier once, and it keeps working as your course grows — a handful of learners or a full cohort all get their certificate the same way, without extra setup per batch.
Training and L&D teams
Turn a Paperform assessment or feedback survey into the source of truth for who's earned a credential, so completions get recognized without anyone manually cross-checking a spreadsheet.
