How Certifier integrates with Jotform
Certifier connects Jotform responses directly to your credentialing process. When a user submits a form, the data flows to a connected spreadsheet or Zapier zap, depending on your choice, and qualified submissions are passed to Certifier. Certifier then creates, issues, and sends a certificate, badge, or digital credential from the Credential Template you choose.
The Sheets-powered route uses a connected spreadsheet as the bridge. Each new Jotform submission creates a row, and Certifier monitors the selected worksheet for complete new rows. Zapier is useful when you need filters, branches, approvals, signed-document events, or additional apps in the process before the credential is issued.

Setup steps

Build the Jotform form and make Recipient Name and Recipient Email required.

In Jotform, open Settings > Integrations, choose Google Sheets, and create a new spreadsheet for the form.

Select the response fields Jotform should send to the spreadsheet. Start with an empty form or disable sending existing submissions.

In Certifier Automations, select the Jotform template and choose Connect via Google Sheets.

Configure the Google Sheets New Row Added trigger, select the workbook and worksheet, and add Certifier's Issue Credential action.

Map the recipient and credential fields, submit a controlled test response, and activate the automation after checking the result.
