How Certifier integrates with WooCommerce
WooCommerce and Certifier connect through Zapier, a third-party workflow automation app. Zapier detects specific WooCommerce events, such as an eligible customer action, and sends the customer and event data to Certifier.
Certifier uses the collected details to automatically fill your chosen template, then issues and emails the certificate, badge, or credential directly to the recipient.

Setup steps

In your WordPress dashboard, install and activate the Zapier Integration for WooCommerce plugin.

Open Zapier, create a new Zap with WooCommerce as the trigger, then connect your WooCommerce site.

Select the trigger type you need, such as Line Item in an Order, Booking, or Subscription.

Yes, you can use “Line Item in an Order” as the WooCommerce trigger, then add a Filter by Zapier step before Certifier.
Set the filter to continue only when the product ID or SKU matches the item you want. You can then use separate Zaps to issue different Certifier templates for different products.
Yes. Go to Certifier’s “Issue Credential” action in Zapier and set the Issue Credential field to “False.” Certifier will save the populated certificate in your dashboard for manual approval, so you can check for any needed changes and publish it when ready.
Zapier can’t retroactively delete Certifier credentials when a WooCommerce status changes, so nothing will happen after a refund.
If you’d like to revoke the credential, you must manually delete it from your Certifier dashboard. This disables its public verification page, so the customer can no longer verify or present the certificate or warranty as valid.
From your Certifier dashboard, go to Credentials, find the recipient who needs their certificate updated, and click “View.” Choose a new expiration date for the specific credential, then save it.
You can update the date even after the certificate has expired, and the live page will show the new validity period.
