Adding a logo to your issued certificates and diplomas can help you promote your brand and position yourself as a professional and credible organization. Follow the steps below to create certificates or badges customized with your company logo using Certifier’s visual design builder.

Step 1: Sign up for Certifier

Sign up for a free Certifier account to design professional diplomas and badges in minutes. With a Certifier account, you can easily create certificates with logo for free using our visual design builder.

To start creating documents branded with your company logo, go to the Designs tab. Here, you can choose between two paths: selecting one of your existing designs or creating a new one from scratch. If you've already worked on certificate designs in the past, simply select the design you want to customize further. If not, create a new one, choosing between a certificate or badge design.

Step 3: Select the design template that best fits your needs

Go to the Templates tab to explore hundreds of professionally designed certificate and badge templates in Certifier's collection. Whether you're looking for an elegant certificate design or a stylish badge, we offer a range of templates for every use case. Simply browse the templates and select the one that best aligns with your preferences and branding needs. You can filter the templates by category, style, orientation, and color using the Filter feature.

Step 4: Remove unnecessary graphic elements from the template

Start customizing your certificate or badge design by eliminating any unwanted graphic elements from the template. Every template has a placeholder that indicates where your company logo can be placed. Remove the placeholder element by selecting it and clicking "Delete Element" from the right-hand corner menu. This will create space for your own logo.

Before you create a certificate with logo, make sure that your logo file is good quality and high resolution. You can add your logo in either JPG or PNG format. For the best results, we suggest using PNG with a transparent background, as a logo file with a solid background may clash with your document aesthetic. Also, keep in mind the size of your logo – not too large or too small. Certifier accepts files up to 2MB in size.

In the next step, upload your own logo directly from your computer. To achieve this, go to the "Elements" tab in the left-hand side menu and click "Upload Image." From there, select the logo file you want to use from your computer. Make sure to use a high-quality file with a transparent background. Once your logo is uploaded into the visual design builder, you'll be able to easily resize it to your preferred size and place it where you see fit.

Step 7: Adjust the design colors to match your branding

Create a consistent and professional look for your certificate design by adjusting its colors to match your branding and logo. To do this, select the text and other graphic elements you want to customize in your design. Then, use the "Color" feature in the top menu to adjust the color of the selected elements. You can also upload a custom background in the "Background" tab for an even more customized look.

Step 8: Adjust the text and fonts to match your branding

Customize your certificate or badge design to match your branding by adjusting the text and fonts. To achieve this, simply select the text you want to customize. Edit it by clicking the Edit button that will appear on top of the selected text. Once you’ve typed the text you want to include on the document, head to the font settings. From there, choose the font style, size, and color that match your branding.

Step 9: Add dynamic attributes to your certificate design

To finish creating your document, add the missing recipient's info with dynamic attributes. You can add recipient names, grades, course titles, certificate expiration dates, and more. Choose the dynamic attributes you want to include in your credentials, and Certifier will automatically populate them with the corresponding recipient's data at the moment of issuing. Thanks to the dynamic attributes, you won't need to manually enter each recipient's information and will be able to issue hundreds of certificates, diplomas, and badges in a few minutes.

Step 10: Edit the design even after having issued the certificate

Sometimes, you may realize you’ve made a mistake only after you have already issued your certificate. That’s why Certifier allows you to make more changes to your credentials even after sending them to your recipients. If you realize you made a mistake and need to adjust something in your document, go to your existing design in the Designs tab. Then, click on the element you wish to change in the design canvas and use the editing options. You can edit the text, adjust the certificate fonts, change colors, and resize, move, or rotate each graphic element as needed. With Certifier, you have complete control over your design and can make changes whenever you need, even after you've already issued the certificate. Any changes you make to your certificate will be seen live on the issued credentials.

Using a crisp, high-res logo will make your document look clean and professional both on screen and in print. On the flip side, a low-quality logo might appear pixelated or blurry, leaving a less-than-stellar impression. We only accept files in PNG and JPG formats that are under 2MB.

Keep your branding consistent
